The Journey is the Reward
Learning how to trust God's word/voice is like dancing on the edge of a mountain. It is the first step in your journey. The top freerider in the world, Jeremy Jones, said it great,
"The Journey is the Reward."
As the snow and water come down from heaven, they flourish the earth and provide seed and bread for the people. As the Word comes out of Gods mouth to water you, it will make you flourish and your spirit soar. You will then provide seed for some and bread for others. As you do this, the Lord’s desires and purposes will be accomplished through you.

Learning Trust vs Mistrust
This is the first step towards Spiritual Maturity. Just like a baby is bottle fed, then he learns to feed himself; learning how to feed your own spirit is the first thing to learn. As you feed your spirit with the word of God you will learn to Trust Him; Faith...an Extreme Sport, FAES-It.com
Spend Time with God:
This may be revealed more in the Exploration test of your Spiritual Pathway.
Examples:
Go for a walk or run
Find a quiet place to read
Allow others to feed you first: see Work It Out page for ideas
Drive around in the car listening to worship or teachings
Get up 15 minutes early to think, read, journal
Write what you already do
Think and dream and imagine with God; allow him into your thoughts
Ask the Lord how you all can spend time together, Go Ahead, ASK!
Isaiah 55:10-11
The rain and the snow come down from the sky. They do not return to it without watering the earth. They make plants come up and grow. The plants produce seeds for farmers. They also produce food for people to eat.
The words I speak are like that. They will not return to me without producing results. They will accomplish what I want them to.
They will do exactly what I sent them to do.
